observe while driving is also included in the pamphlet.
Online Training On Safeguarding Awareness
Drivers are urged to complete our online Safeguarding Awareness course, available to all taxi and private hire (TPH) drivers and TPH applicants, following the Department for Transport's (DfT) Statutory Standards for taxi and private hire licensing.
Continually stay informed

Brompton Road Roadwork
Two lanes will be blocked off on Brompton Road southbound at the intersection with Ovington Gardens until Sunday, February 19. This happens when Thames Water performs utility work.
You can anticipate some delays in your travel. Before you go, give yourself more time to get there.
Work 1 at A40 Western Avenue
Lane closures and speed limits will be in effect on the A40 Western Avenue between the intersections of the A4127 Greenford Road and the A4180 West End Road from Monday, February 13, until Sunday, April 30, 24 hours a day. Moreover, there will be a few nightly directional closures from 22:00 to 5:00. Something is happening while we do important maintenance.
Verify before you go, give yourself more time to get where you're going, and, if necessary, take the designated detours.
Work two
At the intersection of Victoria Road/Horn Lane and Wales
Farm Road/Lamington Park, there will be several weekend lane limitations
and some localized restricted turns on the A40 Western Avenue until Monday,
March 13. From 22:00 on Friday to 05:00 on Monday, lane limits will be in
place every weekend and, where necessary, local detours. It's normal for your
journey to be interrupted, so be sure before they leave and give yourself
additional time to get there.
HS2 is doing A41 and Finchley Road construction.
There will be several southbound lane closures on the A41 Finchley Road at Swiss Cottage Gyratory up to Sunday, February 19. You won't be able to turn right from Finchley Road onto Avenue Road, and College Crescent will be closed in both directions between Buckland Crescent and Avenue Road. This is taking place as HS2 Ltd. works on the new high-speed rail link's construction.
You are recommended to plan, allow more time for your trip, and use alternate routes when available because delays are to be expected. Check ahead of time for details on the state of the roads in your area.
Work on HS2 and Euston Road
The Euston Road between Upper Woburn Place and Gower Street will be closed from 22:00 to 05:00 every night from Friday, February 17, to Sunday, February 19. Euston Road will occasionally have only one lane in either direction.
Beginning towards the end of February, additional lane closures that will reduce Euston Road to four lanes are anticipated, and they will last for a number of years. A delay is anticipated. Consider your options, allow more time for your trip, and check our travel page for more details.
The Wandsworth Roundabout
There will be lane closures on the Wandsworth roundabout from 08:00 to 17:00 till Saturday, April 1. This is as a result of necessary maintenance and safety upgrades.
There will be more overnight closures of the roundabout between 21:30 and 05:30 on the following day between Monday, February 13, and Sunday, February 26.
Please allow more time for your trip, and abide by the posted detours when necessary.
Road A4 Great West
Lane restrictions will be in place between Boston Manor Road and Lionel Road North until May 2023. There will be complete nightly road closures on Monday, February 6, and Sunday, February 12. This is a result of the M4 Chiswick Flyover construction by National Highways.
