TFL NEWS UPDATE
Removal of the PayPal Here payment option and accepted card payment methods
PayPal has declared that starting on April 3, 2023, it will stop offering its "PayPal Here" service in the UK. 'PayPal Here' will no longer be accepted on card payment terminals as of this date. TfL will stop approving PayPal card payment devices on April 2, 2023, due to the termination of PayPal support.
If you bought a PayPal Here card reader on or after January 1, 2022, you would get your money back by the end of March 2023, according to PayPal.
Visit the Transport for London website for a list of authorized card payment devices to locate a different payment provider before 3 April 2023.
Driving safety
Drive at a speed acceptable for the scenario, surroundings, and weather conditions while watching for bicycles and other vulnerable road users.
The less time you have to take action to avoid an accident, the quicker you are driving. When speed rises, the injuries that ensue also get worse.
For more details and suggestions, visit Transport for London website.
Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Disabled People) Act of 2022
The 2022 Act updates the Equality Act of 2010. It imposes obligations on licensing agencies, taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) drivers, and PHV operators to guarantee that disabled customers of taxi and PHV services receive adequate help wherever they travel without being charged more.
Licensees should read and understand TPH Notification 08/22.

Road improvements A40 Western Avenue - Work one
At the intersection of Victoria Road/Horn Lane and Wales Farm Road/Leamington Park, there will be a series of weekend lane restrictions and some localized restricted turns on the A40 Western Avenue until Monday, March 13. Every weekend, there will be lane limitations and, if necessary, local detours from 22:00 on Friday until 05:00 on Monday. Check before they leave and give yourself more time to finish your route because certain delays are to be expected.
Task two
Between the A4127 Greenford Road intersections and the A4180 West End Road, there will be constant lane restrictions and speed limits on the A40 Western Avenue until Sunday, April 30. Between 22:00 and 5:00, there will also be a few nightly directional closures. Something is happening while we do important maintenance.
Verify before you go, give yourself more time to get where you're going, and, if necessary, take the designated detours.
Wandsworth Roundabout
There will be lane closures on the Wandsworth roundabout from 08:00 to 17:00 till Saturday, April 1. This is as a result of necessary maintenance and safety upgrades.
There will be further nightly closures of the roundabout between 21:30 and 05:30 the next day between Monday, February 13, and Sunday, February 26.
Please allow more time for your trip, and abide by the posted detours when necessary.
A4 Great West Road
Lane restrictions will exist between Boston Manor Road and Lionel Road North until May 2023. There will also be complete overnight road closures from Monday, February 6, to Sunday, February 12. This results from National Highways' construction of the M4 Chiswick Flyover.
Visit the National Highways website for further information.
Euston Road and HS2
There will be temporary lane restrictions on Euston Road between North Gower Street and Eversholt Street until about the middle of June. Until mid-April, a little stretch of Euston Road is only allowed four lanes of traffic; after that, we anticipate certain limitations to be lifted.
More lanes are slated to close starting mid-June and will likely last several years. Expect delays; thus, prepare ahead, give yourself additional time for your trip, and read more on our travel tips page.
