SALON PRIVÉ – A TRUE CAR ENTHUSIAST’S SPECTACLE

The show will be held on the third?of September, which will showcase the best of the best luxury cars and hypercars as well as collectibles, antiques, retro cars and many more. Several cars will be making their debut at the Salon Priv? this September, including the Bristol Bullet, celebrating the 70th anniversary of Bristol Cars built with a BMW V8 engine. Another luxury British brand ? Morgan, will be displaying the Morgan 1909 Edition EV3 which sports an all-electric engine and driven on three wheels. The world?s first titanium supercar will also be making its debut; the ?2m Icona Vulcano. The design of the Vulcano was inspired by the SR-71 Blackbird which is the fastest plane in the world.

EXPERIENCE THE LUXURY AND LAVISH WAY OF LIFE ON THE ROAD

Blenheim Palace has teamed up with several manufacturers to allow guests the experience of a lifetime and also to increase interest and sales on selected vehicles. This does sound well and truly amazing until you find out that it will cost you ?295 to experience any of the vehicles.

The vehicles available for testing will be of very high value, hence the price tag on their test drives. Big players have already agreed to be part of the line-up, starting with BMW and their i8 hybrid supercar, Bentley with their luxury SUV, the Bentayga, which is believed to be the most luxurious, powerful and fastest SUV so far.

Abarth 124 Spider is also going to be up for test drives, alongside the face-lift model versions of their 595 hatchbacks, being the 595 C Turismo Cabrio and the 595 Competizione guise.

As well as its debut, the Morgan EV3 three-wheeler will also be available for test drives.

The more exotic cars which will be there include the Tesla Model S, as well as the Lamborghini Huracan with two of its models; LP 580-2 and the LP610-4 Spyder.

If you enjoyed the show but did not get the chance to try out one of the cars in the test drive line-up, now is your time to splash out with your leftover savings. The cars at auction on the day are extremely hard to come by nowadays as some very exquisite cars will be up for grabs. The most impractical yet oldest and most fascinating car on auction will be the 1915 American La France Speedster. The looks say it all. This car is great for occasional trips in the Summer and will definitely get the attention that it deserves by the public. One of the newest cars on offer will be the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster. Only 500 have been made and this particular model has not yet had any owners or mileage added.

Something to bring back a few memories, the iconic 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 will also be up for sale with an absolutely flawless bodywork that has been kept immensely clean by its owner. There are also several great choices for the American-car lovers, such as the 1965 Ford Mustang GT, 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray C2?and a very well kept 1959 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan.
